High Transparency Fiberglass Skylight Panels
The high light transmittance of our fiberglass skylight panels is achieved through our core technological design. YIKORFRP® utilises isophthalate polyester resin with extremely high light transmittance (n=1.545), whose refractive index matches that of E-glass fibre (n=1.540). This minimises light refraction loss. We strictly control the glass fibre content to between 25% and 32%. Furthermore, we use a uniformly distributed, continuous and untwisted fibre mat, which effectively prevents the formation of fibre clumps or dry spots. In addition, we employ a multi-stage roller compaction and vacuum defoaming process to eliminate air bubbles within the glass fibre skylight panels, thereby preventing light scattering. We use UV-resistant PET film for your fiberglass skylight panels that blocks 99.9 % of UV rays. This effectively prevents the fibreglass skylight panels from yellowing. Reduce the frequency of replacements and cut your labour costs.

UV Resistant Fiberglass Skylight Panels
YIKORFRP® continuous automated production line ensures that the panels we produce for you deliver consistent, uniform performance. The long-term weather resistance of our high transparency fiberglass skylight panels is made possible by our continuous automated molding production line. Our curing oven employs an industry-standard three-stage temperature control design. By using a zoned, stepwise heating mode, we avoid the drawbacks of single-step high-temperature curing. The temperature in the pre-curing stage is controlled between 85°C and 100°C, allowing the panels to undergo initial gel formation. The main curing stage is heated to 120°C to 145°C, allowing the resin to undergo thorough cross-linking and achieve full curing. In the post-curing stage, the temperature is reduced to 110°C to 120°C, effectively eliminating internal stresses in the panels. This not only prevents your fibreglass skylight panels from warping and deforming, but also eliminates problems such as delamination and clouding.

Their high light transmission, weather resistance, and lightweight structure make them suitable for large-scale daylighting projects.
Our fibreglass skylight panels offer a light transmission of up to 85 per cent, depending on the resin formulation and surface design. Thanks to high-transmission polyester resin technology and precisely controlled fibreglass distribution, you can achieve uniform natural lighting in warehouses and industrial buildings. Reducing reliance on artificial lighting lowers energy costs.
With UV-resistant gel coat technology and weather-stable resin, our fiberglass skylight panels can provide approximately 10–20 years. The actual lifespan depends on climate, installation method, maintenance conditions, and exposure intensity. Compared with ordinary PVC skylight panels, FRP panels offer better resistance against UV aging, temperature changes, and outdoor exposure.
YIKORFRP® achieves a more uniform level of UV protection by applying a protective surface layer using automated gelcoat spraying equipment. The addition of UV-resistant raw materials helps to maintain optical stability, with a colour difference of approximately ΔE < 3. Compared with low-cost PVC skylight panels, our FRP panels perform better in terms of resistance to sun-induced ageing and loss of light transmission.
When your project requires long-term weather resistance and consistent performance, you can opt for our fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) skylight panels. Without proper protection, polycarbonate panels may suffer from issues such as thermal expansion and UV ageing. Our FRP panels feature a glass fibre-reinforced polyester resin structure, offering excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance. For industrial buildings, coastal facilities and chemical environments, our FRP skylight panels provide a more durable solution.
Yes. You can install fiberglass skylight panels together with corrugated metal roofs, trapezoidal roofing systems, and industrial steel structures. YIKORFRP® supports customized profiles, widths, and lengths to match different roofing designs. Compared with glass skylight systems that require complex supporting structures, FRP skylight panels are lightweight and easier to integrate into existing roof systems. This helps you reduce installation time and construction complexity.
You can use our fiberglass skylight panels in various climates. They are designed for outdoor environments. The FRP composite structure provides resistance against sunlight, rain, humidity, and temperature fluctuations. Our panels are suitable for operating temperatures from approximately -40℃ to +120℃. Compared with metal skylight materials, FRP panels offer superior corrosion resistance because they do not rust. Our fiberglass roofing panels suitable for coastal areas and industrial environments.
You can rely on YIKORFRP’s automated manufacturing system and strict quality control processes. Our factory operates 8 automated FRP production lines within a 75,000 m² manufacturing facility. Our factory has a monthly capacity of approximately 800,000 m². Compared with small workshops using manual production methods, automated manufacturing provides better consistency.
